Hi there,
Losing our Spouse is so very hard...Kenny had cancer and I was his sole caregiver for 9 1/2 years...after I lost him I lost my Loving Father...so then I was really alone then I was diagnosed with cancer and was told to get "My house in order"... evidently God was not finished with me cause here I am and I Am CLEAN now for 4 years...PRAISE THE LORD....it is so hard to tell someone to HANG IN THERE and that THINGS and YOUR LIFE will get BETTER but they do...it takes time to sort through things...and each must go through the steps of grieving...
Will remember you in Prayer...
God Bless
Hello CC Lyda,
I can understand your grief because I lost my husband also. It takes time to heal. What helped me most was keeping busy. I am now taking care of my mother that will turn 93 this july. She loves to email people and receive pictures. She prints pictures to take to her friends and also has made calling cards for herself. I would love to have her join this group . Hugs to you.
Thank you CC. Love the poem and it made me smile. Was at counselling today and the world seems a brighter place so it was nice to come here and get your message. How thoughtful of you.
So sorry to hear your sad loss. Randy was very young and that must be so sad for you with the suddeness of his death. Children, young people give us a reason to go on. Thinking of you and sending warm hugs to you. It is good that you do have work to help you throughout the day. I understand your need for computer company too.

About Me:
Am a 61 year old nurse, i work at Folsom Prison in the opto, dept, the audiology dept and the minor surgery clinic, I lost my 4th husband, Randy, 44 years old last year on Memorial Day to a massive MI and sometimes I wish I went with him, but I have a 16 year old granddaughter who worshipped her grandpa and our 6 year old Australian Shepherd/chow dog and I don't know what either one of them would do without me
My Philosophy:
I am usually so easy and carefree, nothing has ever bothered me for long til I lost Randy and now I am struggling with wanting to live, be with anyone, I stay on the computer, don't go anywhere but to work and home and my kids keep telling me that I need to do things but I don't want to I just want to stay home and be with my memories.
